Never Lose Your Wonder

Recently I found myself praying that the presence of God never be common to me.

What do I mean by that?

We can get so accustomed to having encounters with God that it can become so common, and familiarity can cause us to lose reverence for the Lord.

“Let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.”
Hebrews 12:28

I pray this week as you prepare to lead that every encounter you have with the Lord be fresh and new.

May He always be our Magnificent Obsession, and may we never lose our wonder!

May we forever be in awe of Him.

“Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; and His greatness is unsearchable.”
Psalm 145:3
