You Can’t Do Everything

Hey Worship Leader,

No is a complete sentence.

We are not superhuman. Sometimes we just can’t. Every assignment isn’t yours. Do not get caught up in wanting to serve so badly that you end up burnt out. You will then be no good to yourself or others.

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28

Rest wasn’t a request but a command.

YOU CAN’T DO EVERYTHING.

Even Jesus withdrew from the crowds to rest and pray.

“So He Himself often withdrew into the wilderness and prayed.”
Luke 5:16

As you prepare to lead, I pray you find rest tonight. Not just physically but mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

May you find rest in His presence as He prepares to use you mightily.

“In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength.”
Isaiah 30:15
